Lafayette Park

A young woman with blonde hair, wearing a black and white striped jacket, ripped jeans, and black heels, is kneeling on a leaf-covered sidewalk in a green Lafayete Park in downtown St. Louis, MO during autumn, smiling at the camera.

Nestled on 30-acres in the heart of St. Louis, Lafayette Park offers a stunning variety of backdrops for your senior pictures. With flowers blooming nearly year-round, this location is perfect for capturing vibrant, natural portraits.

You’ll find everything from charming historic buildings and mature trees to a classic gazebo, peaceful ponds, and beautiful stone pathways. The wrought iron fences and gates add a timeless touch, making it easy to create diverse and memorable images.

St. Charles

Strolling down the historic cobblestone streets of Main Street, St. Charles, Missouri, this senior photo features a young woman dressed casually. The portrait highlights the charming small-town backdrop, ideal for natural light portrait photography.

If you're looking for that charming, urban feel without heading into downtown St. Louis, historic St. Charles is the perfect spot. With its brick sidewalks, cobblestone streets, and beautifully preserved buildings, this location gives your senior pictures a relaxed, timeless vibe with plenty of variety.

Explore cozy corners, mini parks, and scenic storefronts as we stroll down Main Street. Whether you're sipping coffee at a local café, grabbing ice cream, or posing along inoperable train tracks or next to the rustic log cabin, St. Charles offers a unique blend of charm and personality that makes every session feel natural and fun.

Rock City

A senior portrait at Rock City Quarry in Valmeyer, Illinois, shows a young man wearing a pink sweatshirt and khaki pants seated on a stone window ledge of the old quarry. The rugged, industrial scenery complements this outdoor portrait session.

Looking for something a little different? Rock City is a one-of-a-kind senior photo location set in an old quarry that’s been transformed into a scenic park. With cave-like rock formations, tall grasses, and a weathered stone building no longer in use, it brings a moody, slightly grunge aesthetic that stands out from traditional portrait spots.

There’s also a nearby hiking trail perfect for adding some natural variety to your session. Surrounded by trees and wild grasses, it creates a great balance between nature and edge. Rock City is ideal if you're looking for something bold, unique, and full of texture.

You’ll find historic buildings from the 1850s, rustic cabins, and cozy streets that create a relaxed and natural vibe for your session.

You can even venture to the edge of town for portraits by the Mississippi River or pose under the beautiful stone arches nearby. Whether you're going for something classic, laid-back, or a little different, Kimmswick offers a mix of history and scenery that makes your session feel personal and memorable.

Sandy Creek Covered Bridge

Tucked about 30 minutes outside of St. Louis County, Sandy Creek Covered Bridge is a hidden gem for outdoor senior pictures. The bright red covered bridge adds a pop of color and charm, giving your portraits a one-of-a-kind backdrop you won’t find anywhere else.

A small creek runs beneath the bridge, surrounded by peaceful woods, tall grasses, and a winding trail that offers even more natural beauty. It’s the perfect spot for seniors who love being outdoors and want a mix of rustic and scenic in their session.

Queeny Park

During a sunset session at Queeny Park in Ballwin, Missouri, a young woman in a pink dress and glasses poses among wildflowers. This senior photo captures warm light and natural beauty in a serene outdoor setting perfect for portrait photography

Queeny Park offers a little bit of everything, all in one spot. From open fields and wildflowers to unique architecture, it’s easy to create a mix of country charm and vintage elegance during your senior session.

You’ll find tall grasses, blooming flowers, a barn-style building, and a separate 1854 Greek Revival house—each offering its own look and feel. Whether you're leaning into nature or adding a little character with historic architecture, Queeny Park is full of photo opportunities that reflect your style.
