The Tower Grove Park Experience

Tower Grove Park is a masterpiece of Victorian design, characterized by an abundance of ornate gazebos, historic stone ruins, and meticulously curated gardens. With its lily ponds, grand brick architecture, and winding pathways, the park offers a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic that is perfect for high-impact, one-hour sessions.

The Best Part About Tower Grove Park

The horticultural variety at Tower Grove ensures a vibrant backdrop year-round. The lily ponds are a central highlight, surrounded by lush aquatic plants and manicured lawns perfect for seated portraits. Nearby, tall ornamental grasses provide a soft, textured environment for standing or lifestyle poses.

The most iconic feature of the park is the pond with stone arches. These ruins offer a grand architectural element for leaning, standing, or sitting. The surrounding shrubbery and floral beds ensure that every angle includes either rich greenery or the reflective surface of the pond. Adjacent to this area is the historic brick architecture of the Piper Palm House and its surrounding structures. The textured brick walls serve as a classic urban-meets-garden backdrop, while the nearby lampposts and narrow side paths are ideal for candid, movement-based shots or seated poses in the center of the walkway.

Throughout the park, Victorian-style gazebos serve as unique "outdoor rooms." Their ornate railings and wide steps are perfect for everything from formal poses to candid "dancing" shots. During the spring, specific pathways are anchored by sculptures and surrounded by expansive beds of vibrant tulips, creating a high-color focal point for the session.
