Meet Amanda:
The Girl Behind the Lens

St. Louis Senior Picture Photographer

Hey there, Friend!

I’m Amanda, a senior photographer from the St. Louis area, and I remember exactly how it feels to be in your shoes. I remember wanting that perfect fall session but feeling totally lost when it came to posing and picking outfits.

That was over 10 years ago. Today, I’ve turned those struggles into my specialty. Guided by my professor’s mantra, “If you can pose yourself, you can pose others,” I make sure you feel comfortable, confident, and cute from the moment we start. My goal is to make you feel your most beautiful while capturing real memories that your family will cherish for generations.

 So Why Me?

Ask anyone who’s spent more than a week with me, and they’ll tell you I’m addicted to photography. My camera goes almost everywhere with me!

I’m not just a hobbyist, though, I’ve spent years honing my craft. I’ve earned professional certificates from the New York Institute of Photography and Shaw Academy. While studying at STLCC-Meramec, I served as the Photo Editor and Production Manager for The Montage student newspaper, where I became a published, award-winning editor.

When you book your session, you aren’t just getting someone with a nice camera; you’re getting a trained specialist who knows how to handle any lighting, any setting, and any 'I don’t know what to do with my hands' moment. Because I specialize exclusively in seniors, you get my full focus and a decade of experience.

A Glimpse at My Life

I grew up as an only child, which is why I’m so close to my family. My parents, our dogs, and I traveled so much together over the years, and those memories mean the world to me. I recently married my loving (and goofy!) husband, Eric. Together, we’re planning to raise a family of our own, adopt a few more dogs, and travel just as much as I did growing up.

I love traveling the country and going camping! I’ve visited 33 states so far, and I’m not stopping anytime soon! I’m usually the trip planner (and I genuinely love it!). From exploring Missouri’s hidden gems, to visiting places like Devil’s Tower in Wyoming, and the Smoky Mountains, I’m always looking for the next great adventure.

I’ve been an avid St. Louis Blues hockey fan since 2018. My very first Blues game was a birthday present! It was against the LA Kings. Unfortunately we lost that night, but it didn’t stop me from falling in love with the sport of hockey! Now, I’m a fan for life! Let’s go Blues!

One adoring client shared:

“Before my session I felt like I would be in wonderful hands. I had absolutely no concerns. We talked through how the session would go and what I wanted for our daughter’s pictures. I enjoyed that Amanda captured my daughter’s amazing personality. Amanda is so professional and listens to everything you want with your lifelong memories. Amanda is very creative and captured our daughter’s attitude and bubbly personality. I am so happy we have chosen her to capture our family.”
