Meet Amanda:
The Face Behind the Camera

About the Photographer

Hey there, Friend!

Hi! I’m Amanda, a senior photographer in the St. Louis area, who loves capturing awesome seniors just like you!

I remember how exciting senior year was, especially looking forward to my own senior portraits. I wanted my photos taken outdoors in the fall because I love nature and the beautiful colors of changing leaves.

Back then, I struggled with posing and choosing outfits, and I wished I had guidance with my wardrobe. Thankfully, my photographer helped with posing, and now I make sure my clients get that same support, plus so much more.

But that was over 10 years ago. Now I can put together super cute outfits that I feel comfortable in, and I can pose myself. And as my professor always said, “If you can pose yourself, you can pose others.”

With years of experience, I help clients put together cute, comfortable outfits and guide them through posing so their senior sessions are stress-free and fun.

My goal is to make you feel your most beautiful, create a unique senior session that’s all about you, and deliver lasting memories your family will cherish for generations.

In fact, one adoring client shared, “Before my session I felt like I would be in wonderful hands. I had absolutely no concerns. We talked through how the session would go and what I wanted for our daughter’s pictures. I enjoyed that Amanda captured my daughter’s amazing personality. Amanda is so professional and listens to everything you want with your lifelong memories. Amanda is very creative and captured our daughter’s attitude and bubbly personality. I am so happy we have chosen her to capture our family.”

 So Why Me?

Ask anyone who’s spent more than a week with me, and they’ll probably tell you I’m addicted to photography. Well, not literally, but close! My camera goes almost everywhere with me, and capturing moments is just second nature at this point.

I’ve completed photography courses through Shaw Academy and the New York Institute of Photography, earning certificates from both. I also studied at STLCC - Meramec in Kirkwood and became a published, award-winning Photo Editor and Production Manager for The Montage student newspaper.

So when it comes to your senior pictures, you can feel confident knowing you’re working with someone trained, experienced, and totally comfortable behind the lens, no matter the setting.

And the best part? I specialize exclusively in senior photography, so your session gets my full focus, experience, and creativity.

A Glimpse at My Life

I’ve grown up as an only child, which I believe is the reason I’m so close to my family. My parents and our dogs have traveled so much together over the years, and those memories mean the world to me. I recently married my loving (and goofy) husband, Eric, where we plan to raise a family of our own, adopt a few dogs, and hopefully travel just as much together as I did growing up.

I love traveling the country and going camping! I’ve visited 33 states so far, and I’m not stopping anytime soon! I’m usually the trip planner and I genuinely enjoy it. Some of my favorite places I’ve been to in the USA are Devil’s Tower in Wyoming, White Sands in New Mexico, the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina, Badlands in South Dakota, and the North Cascades in Washington. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

I’ve been an avid St. Louis Blues hockey fan since 2018. My very first Blues game was a birthday present! It was against the LA Kings. Unfortunately we lost that night, but it didn’t stop me from falling in love with the sport of hockey! Now, I’m a fan for life! Let’s go Blues!
