Xavier | Dressed for Success in Nature at Forest Park

When Xavier’s mom mentioned before our session that he wasn’t exactly thrilled about getting his senior pictures taken, I reassured her that it is completely normal for guys to feel that way. However, Xavier showed up full of smiles and ready to roll! His mom jokingly let me in on his secret training: he’s learned over the years that the faster you smile, the faster the session wraps up. Despite his quick-smile strategy, his mom did request a few serious shots mixed in, which worked perfectly with his wardrobe. He brought two great outfits, including a sharp suit that perfectly fits his goal of going into the finance world after graduation.

We headed down to the iconic lake basin at Forest Park’s Art Hill per his mom's request, and then followed the pathways around the water, across the bridges, and right into the woods. Xavier is a huge fan of nature, and as we explored the more heavily wooded areas of the park, he told me all about an incredible solo trip he recently took up to the Badlands.
