Katie & Friends | From Rainy Umbrellas to Blue Skies in St. Louis

What started as a dreary, rainy prom day turned into the ultimate multi-location adventure for Katie and her friends! We kicked off the day in Columbia, IL, getting creative with some cute indoor portraits by the fireplace and a vintage suitcase before meeting up with the rest of the group at their hometown venue. We used matching umbrellas to keep everyone dry and looking high-fashion for a few quick outdoor photos before heading across the river, but only after snapping a massive group shot on the party bus.

To beat the weather, we utilized the stunning, luxury interiors of River City Casino, capturing gorgeous shots in the grand lobby with the giant flower sculptures, in the doorways, and lined up on bar stools in the restaurant. Just as we finished, the midwest weather flipped and gave us vibrant blue skies! We made a quick dash to Citygarden in downtown St. Louis to wrap up the day with some incredible photos around the modern sculptures with the iconic Gateway Arch cutting across the sky.
