Riley | Lost in the Woods at Castlewood State Park

Riley’s session at Castlewood State Park was the perfect backdrop for his senior pictures. As a true outdoorsman, Riley was right at home exploring the winding trails, relaxing by the water, and taking in the breathtaking bluff overlooks. We even had a few turkey vultures fly directly overhead while at the overlook, a perfect, unscripted moment to capture him enjoying the nature that lives around and above him.

Riley is heading to Colorado State University in the fall to study chemical engineering, so he sported his favorite CSU hoodie for several shots. Since his family frequently hikes in Colorado, the rugged terrain of the park was a great nod to the "hiker" side of his personality. One of the most unique parts of the day was Riley bringing along two of his terrariums; with a huge collection of them at home, these little ecosystems are a big part of who he is.
