Riley | Lost in the Woods
Riley’s session at Castlewood State Park couldn’t have been a more perfect location for his senior pictures. It was his first visit to the park, and he loved exploring the trails, taking in the overlook views, and relaxing by the creek. As someone who loves the outdoors, Riley was right at home in his natural element. At one point, while at the overlook, a few turkey vultures flew overhead. Riley turned to watch them, and it was the perfect moment to capture him enjoying the nature that not only grows around him, but lives around and above him.
Riley is heading to Colorado State University in the fall to study chemical engineering. He wore his favorite CSU hoodie for the photos, something he often wears. His family also frequently hikes in Colorado, so the hike was an extra nod at the hiker part of his personality. Another special touch during the session was Riley bringing two of his terrariums. With a whole collection of them at home, these little plants are clearly a big part of who he is. It was great to include something so personal in the photos.
