When school was canceled due to the incredible amount of snow we accumulated, Emmie reached out with a brilliant idea: it was the perfect time for snowy senior portraits! I couldn’t have agreed more. We bundled up and headed out into the fresh powder in her hometown of Columbia, IL, even as the flakes continued to fall.

The entire session was a perfect winter wonderland. We focused on the "cozy" side of the season, capturing moments of Emmie bundling up in blankets and sipping hot chocolate to stay warm. We also made sure to have some classic winter fun, from throwing snow in the air to making snow angels! The results were some of the cutest, most authentic portraits that truly captured the joy of a snow day. Scroll down to see all of the fun we had during this chilly but heartwarming session!
