Emily | Living in the 60’s in Columbia, IL
Emily has a soul straight out of the 1960s, and I loved how that vintage energy radiated through every part of her session. She had a very specific vision: her vintage VW Beetle, a field of wildflowers, portraits with her kitty, and the historic charm of Lafayette Park. We were able to capture it all by starting in her hometown of Columbia, Illinois, before heading downtown to the park.
Everything Emily chose was incredibly intentional. She brought along a guitar and a pair of fun heart sunglasses that perfectly complimented her outfits. Since pink is her favorite color, she made sure to incorporate it into every look, she even hand-made the stunning dress she wore for the VW Beetle portraits. As a fellow Swiftie, she also put together a complete Taylor Swift-inspired outfit that showed off her personality beautifully.
