Katie’s mom wanted to focus on simply enjoying every moment of her daughter’s final high school prom. By having me there to document the day, she was able to watch Katie get dressed and ready for the big evening without the stress of managing a camera.

We started with portraits at the prom venue, in Katie’s hometown of Columbia, IL, before heading to the iconic Forest Park. The area down by the water basin provided a stunning, classic backdrop for Katie's elegant look. The day was full of energy as the girls enjoyed a limo ride around the city, even making a sweet stop for treats at Jilly’s Cupcake Bar.
