For Katie’s senior pictures, we decided to keep things close to home and explore the charming atmosphere of her local community. We spent the day taking a "trip around town" to find the most unique and meaningful backdrops.

We started our session by driving just a short distance to the historic Salem-Baum Church. The weathered stone and timeless architecture provided a beautifully unique background for her portraits. From there, we headed into the heart of the city, where we discovered some incredible murals painted on the sides of local buildings. These colorful, artistic finds made for such fun and cute backgrounds that perfectly captured her personality. It was a wonderful way to celebrate a hometown session in the Waterloo, IL area. Check out all the fun we had and the unique images we captured below!
