Jordan | In the Dead of Winter

I always tell my clients that we can find a beautiful location for pictures no matter what time of year it is! When Jordan had his senior session in January, we focused on finding spots with great textures and architectural interest that would shine even without the colorful leaves of fall or spring.

We explored several unique locations around Monroe County, IL. From the edgy vibe of local graffiti walls to the timeless, weathered stone of the old Salem-Baum Church, we had no shortage of great backdrops. We even headed to Lakeview Park to capture some serene portraits by the water. Jordan was great to work with, and we proved that the "dead of winter" can actually be one of the coolest times for a session. Check out the highlights from his winter portraits below!
