Emily | An Urban and Bloom Session at City Foundry
Emily wanted a location that felt a bit different for her senior pictures, and City Foundry downtown was the perfect choice. With a dad who helped create the space, Emily spent a lot of time there growing up, making it a place full of personal meaning. We explored the spots her parents remember most, capturing portraits outside the food hall, along the textured stone walls, and inside among the historic industrial beams.
After finishing at the Foundry, we headed to Forest Park for the nature-inspired portion of her session. The park was glowing with fall color around The Muny, and the Jewel Box still had plenty of beautiful, blooming flowers to work with. Emily also wanted to celebrate her next chapter at Mizzou, sporting a Tigers t-shirt and holding a custom sign. She even brought her boyfriend along for a few super cute photos of the two of them together! Between the industrial vibes and the autumn blooms, Emily’s gallery has such a wonderful variety.
