Sofia | A Joyful Ice Skater

For Sofia’s session, we explored all over Forest Park. From the front of The Muny to the picturesque creek, from flowers at the Jewel Box to walking down the Victorian Bridge, Sofia came ready with a variety of amazing outfits. She brought a wardrobe that truly reflected her bubbly personality. She had a cowgirl look to represent her love for horseback riding, a pink outfit that she called her “Barbie” outfit, and she even dressed up with business attire for a few headshots. She also wanted to celebrate her graduation in her cap and gown with a beautiful, yellow bouquet.

One location that was very special to Sofia that we went to was Steinberg Ice Rink. As a child, she grew up watching the ice skaters at Steinberg as she overcame challenges, drawing her into the love of ice skating. Even though the rink wasn't open due to the warm weather, we were still able to capture some beautiful portraits that reflected her love for ice skating and the meaning behind it for her.

Winter Outfits for Senior Pictures in St. Louis

Outfit ideas for winter senior pictures in St. Louis may feel a bit tough since you’ll have to bundle up in layers. It’s actually easy to look great during your session in the colder months. That’s why I’ve put together this outfit guide of 5 outfits for both girls and guys, so you don’t have to wonder what to wear.

Girls:

1.       Vest and Skinny Jeans – Pair a sleeveless puffer vest with a cozy sweater for a stylish yet warm look. Add skinny jeans and knee-high boots to finish off your outfit. You can accessorize your outfit with a beanie and scarf.

Maya | One for the Wildflowers

For Maya's session she simply requested flowers and tall grasses. The first place I thought of was Queeny Park and she liked that idea. Maya had been there before, and it wasn't too far from her. We had the most perfect weather with plenty of sunshine for her tall grass photos and perfect temperature for her whole session. It was a lovely summer evening filled with flowers galore.
